Influenza and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) are two common respiratory infections. Infection with either Influenza or RSV can lead to pneumonia. RSV is a highly contagious virus that can cause respiratory illnesses such as infections of the windpipe, lungs and middle ear.
It is intended for the detection of antigens of influenza A and influenza B, respiratory syncytial virus nucleoprotein in samples from individuals suspected of respiratory viral infection.
