It is used for the quantitative detection of Aspergillus fumigatus anti-galactomannan IgG antibodies in human samples, offering a diagnostic reference for Aspergillus fumigatus infection, especially chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) and allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA).

It can be used manually or in conjunction with semi- or fully-automated microplate processing systems.

Principle

After the sample is added to the enzyme labelled plate coated with Aspergillus galactomannan, the Aspergillus IgG antibody in the serum binds to the antigen.
Then anti-human IgG enzyme-labelled antibody and TMB substrate were added to produce a chromogenic reaction, and the absorbance was measured at 450 nm with an enzyme marker.
The concentration of Aspergillus IgG antibody in the sample is calculated through the standard curve to achieve the detection of Aspergillus IgG antibody.
